MY APPROACH
I take an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on various evidence-based methods to tailor support to your unique needs. At the heart of my practice is Person-Centred Counselling (Rogers), which forms the foundation for a supportive and nonjudgmental space for self-exploration. I see you as the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in discovering your strengths and finding meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to Person-Centred Counselling, I incorporate complementary techniques.
Depending on your goals, I may integrate techniques from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to enhance motivation and support behaviour change, or mind-body techniques like mindfulness and breathwork to reduce stress and restore balance.
Furthermore, my approach is rooted in the biopsychosocial model, meaning we'll explore how your biology, emotions, and environment interact to shape your well-being. By understanding these connections, we can find solutions that help you feel better in a way that lasts and truly matters to you.
Every technique is thoughtfully chosen to support your unique journey, with Person-Centred Counselling always at the core of our work together.
MY QUALIFICATIONS
My academic background includes a Master's degree with a specialisation in health psychology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in psychology, both recognised by the Luxembourg Ministry of Research and Higher Education (MESR).
Additionally, I have received advanced training in the following techniques:
